Refund Policy

RepoRisk subscriptions are billed on a month-to-month basis. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, renewals, and refund requests are handled for services provided by Infosec Chicago.

1. Month-to-Month Subscriptions

RepoRisk subscriptions are provided on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise agreed in writing. Your subscription grants access to the platform and related services through the end of your current billing period.

Subscription fees are charged in advance for each billing cycle.

2. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date.

When a subscription is canceled:

  • Your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing term.
  • You will not be charged again after the cancellation takes effect.
  • No partial-month or prorated refunds will be issued for unused time remaining in the billing period.

3. Refund Eligibility

Because RepoRisk is a month-to-month software service with immediate access to platform functionality, refunds are generally not provided once a billing cycle has started.

Refunds may be considered only in cases where Infosec Chicago substantially fails to provide the core services described as part of the applicable subscription plan.

Examples may include:

  • Extended platform-wide outages that materially prevent use of the service.
  • Failure to provide access to core functionality included in the subscribed plan.
  • Billing errors resulting in duplicate or incorrect charges.

Refund determinations are made at the sole discretion of Infosec Chicago after review of the specific circumstances.

4. Early Access & Beta Features

Certain features may be offered as early access, beta, preview, or experimental functionality. These features may change, be modified, or be removed over time and may not always perform as expected.

The existence of bugs, inaccuracies, or evolving functionality in early access or beta features does not by itself qualify for a refund.

5. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Plans

For Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) plans, customers are responsible for maintaining valid third-party API access and sufficient account credits with their selected AI provider.

Refunds will not be issued due to issues related to:

  • Expired or invalid third-party API keys.
  • Insufficient API credits or billing issues with third-party providers.
  • Third-party service outages outside of RepoRisk’s direct control.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.

Filing fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of access to the platform.

7. Changes to this Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
